Primarily for wet patterns, Dohiku hooks are hand made in Europe to the exacting designs of the team of Alojz Donoval and Kamil Kubíček, Slovakian fly fishermen who became frustrated with the existing available hooks .

All of the Dohiku designs are characterised by their long, slightly up-turned spears and very shallow down eyes.

The design ensures a better hook penetration and in turn helps retain fish more effectively.
