Caddis Case hooks - Jan Siman

From Jan Siman of the Czech Republic comes these SUPER HEAVY leaded caddis hooks, shaped like a small bottle and covered with a durable coat of sand.

These are deigned for the deepest and fastest streams and deep river holes.

Very little dressing is needed to cnvert this hooks to a usable pattern - take a look at the larger image.

Once dressed, try these super heavy patterns as point fly to help to transport dropper nymphs to the bottom.
Cast up stream short distance using "under tip swing cast", track your flies following the stream, point fly bouncing on the bottom.

PLEASE be careful - these hooks will make mincemeat of your rod tip - I would suggest you use a fly rod covered by an unconditional lifetime warranty!
