This is a flexible lacquer – not to be confused with a head cement.

It is ideal for preventing feathers from splitting – great for repairing Jungle Cock nails and for shaping feathers into wing buds, etc.

Just take a single drop or two between your finger and thumb and pull the feather through the lacquer a few times until you feel the liquid starting to thicken.

When dry, the lacquer stays flexible.
