“Aramid” ( Aromatic polyamide ) fibres are super strong and heat resistant, originally developed for Aerospace and Military applications – one of the main components of body armour!
Aramid thread has a very high strength for its diameter – approx. 32 oz breaking strain when the material is spun on your bobbin holder. It has a distinct advantage over GSP threads in that it is less smooth and slippery, making tying in and dubbing so much easier!
99 Denier – 100 yards ( 91 metres) per spool – available in Golden Beige.
