From Hends products of the Czech Republic comes MULTICOLOURED BODY QUILL.
This is a Mylar-tinsel – a flat, synthetic material, approximately 2mm wide.
What makes the product unique is that there are two colours of material on one spool – the braid varies from one colour to the other over a distance of approx. two inches.
To form a dual coloured body :-
1. Cover the hook shank with either white thread or white Elastic Thread. (see below)
2. Cut about 10 cm of Body Quill material – always cut by the brightest colour on the spool.
3. Fold the material in half and tie in so that the brighter end of the material is at the hook shank.
4. Wrap the material from hook bend to eye and catch down.
24 Yards of material per spool.
