Furry Foam is a sheet of foam with a covering of man-made fur – very light in weight and can be cut into strips and stretched tightly when tying with.

As well as being used for the body on saltwater crab patterns, try tying in a thin strip and winding around a hook shank. Add a heavy bead and a turn of partridge hackle for a realistic looking Cased Caddis pattern.

Light when casting – the foam soaks up water very quickly to give you a heavy pattern to get down to the river bed.

The lighter shades – green, cream and tan are excellent colours for caddis pupa patterns – again by using a thin strip tied in at the hook bend and wrapped up the shank of a curved shank hook with a contrasting rib added.

Each sheet is 6″ x 5″ (15cm x 12.5cm) in size.
