Nayat (also know as Snowrunner) is a domesticated breed of Sheep from Iceland that has long, straight hair that makes it the perfect choice for creating long-winged Salmon patterns ( e.g. the Sunray Shadow),  Scandi temple dog style flies and of course Pike/Predator patterns.

The Nayat hair boasts a subtle crinkle that adds a touch of realism to your flies, adding extra movement to help your patterns to swim better and more realistically.

Unlike softer materials, the Nayat hair exhibits optimal stiffness, allowing it to maintain its shape effortlessly.

Plus – Nayat sheds water substantially faster than other soft furs. It dries up at least three times quicker than Icelandic sheep hair and nearly six times faster than fox hair.

Its inherent stiffness and straightness make it incredibly easy to work with.
