20 Oct 2020 – DILLY WAX BACK IN STOCK!

I am delighted to say that after a long gap, Beth & Ty of Fly Rite Products in the USA are back up and running and my latest batch of the superb DILLY WAX and LEASHES has now been shipped across the pond and is available on the website.

Originally formulated for use on poly yarn wing posts, Dilly Wax is also perfect for hackles.

It is also thixotropic! Big word meaning that Dilly Wax liquefies between your fingers – changes from a cream to a gel, for easy application to the fly.

Dilly Wax will not wash off in cold water, and once coated, your fly will float perfectly, cast after cast.

The tube contains enough for a season’s use – it also works very well as a line/leader dressing. Plus, used as a “dubbing wax”, it adds floatability to patterns.

One of the best ways of storing your Dilly Wax for instant use on the river and lake bank is the Dilly Wax Leash – a holder that is attached to a zinger that extends to more than 30 inches – the tube of wax fits tightly in the open end of the holder. Simple but effective!
