Just arrived – a large box, brimming with DOHIKU HOOKS, including TWO brand new models!

DOHIKU HOOKS are the brainchild of three talented Fly Fishermen from Slovakia – together they have designed the hooks’ distinctive shapes and through their shared knowledge and experience, created a range of unique, original barbless hooks.

The two new models – HDO – Bloodworm and HDR Terrestrial!

HDO BLOODWORM – Designed with the help of respected English angler Bill Eadie, these barbless hooks have been specially  developed for Bloodworm patterns. The shape of the hook imitates the bending and movement of aquatic insects and especially the twisting of worms. Excellent for leeches, crustaceans, and larvae as well as hydropsyche & Rhyac larvae patterns.

HDR TERRESTRIAL – these barbless hooks have been designed for patterns such as Hoppers, Terrestrials, Stoneflies and Stonefly nymphs. The hooks have a straight eye to enhance the hook gape and a slight , gentle curve to the shank  to imitate the bent bodies of insects. 3XL, standard wire, forged.
